The Vihucas Colección Familiar will be presented during the Bergen International Festival ( (21th May to 5th June) in the “Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri” by the rewarded Norwegian cook Ørjan Johannessen.

Ørjan Johannessen, cook of the well-known Bekkjarvik Guesthouse and winner of the 2012 world chef championship Bocuse d’Or Europe, has chosen the Vihucas Collección Familiar to accompany the menus served during the Bergen International Festival in Bekkjarvik. Beautifully located on an island, Bekkjarvik is one of the wealthiest places in Europe due the richness in Salmon and other seafood in the surrounding sea. The “Bekkjarvik Gjestgiveri” is famous for its kitchen and its usage of fresh local ingredients. Vihucas Colección Familiar was thus a first choice for Ørjan Johannessen due to its sustainable and organic production.

During the Bergen International Festival, Bekkarvik is expecting to welcome visitors from all over the world. The annual Bergen International Festival is a music and cultural festival and the largest of its kind in the Nordic countries. Among several places all over Norway the festival is also going to take place in Bekkjarvik. On May 24 the Danish Mogens Dahl Chamber Choir and almost a hundred local singers are going to present “Operatic Pearls” in Bekkjarvik Harbour, a concert featuring operatic highlights like Carmen, Lohengrin and many others others.
